“Who doesn’t like to get flowers? They survive like a luxury, and New York Area is a very gritty, fast-paced town. If we could provide nature—something crazy and sumptuous—to New Yorkers and make them smile, the way people laugh when they witness a haphazard show of kindness, and then to is a good detail. Of which occurs my own purpose. It’s a really simple vision but powerful, I think, to produce a emotional reaction through flowers.”
